Over-the-Counter Acid Reflux Medications for Heartburn

One can easily buy from drug stores over-the-counter acid reflux medications for cases where the symptoms of the problem of heartburn are still in the mild state. Antacids, taken even without the prescription of a doctor, are the usual acid reflux medications that can be resorted to for relief of unpredictable occurrences of heartburn every now and then. Antacids have the basic elements of magnesium, calcium or aluminum, in various combinations. There are many brand names available in the drug stores.  

Anyone who eats large amounts of acidic foods can have mild and temporary heartburn developed without warning. The problem sometimes is just casually ignored because it can be easily relieved with simple acid reflux medications, like antacids.
