Acid Reflux Disease Equates to Lifestyle Change


When you are diagnosed with acid reflux disease, the immediate recommendation your doctor would give you are some lifestyle changes that could be sooo major!  You will be advised to minimize your visits to your favorite fast food joint as those greasy burgers contain a lot of fat they are actually triggers to your heartburn.  Burgers become most definitely a bad idea especially if you love them with cheese, tomato and the works.  And   You love pizza?  Bad news girl, the tomatoes and spices are bad for your gastroesophageal reflux disease or GERD (this is how doctors call you condition).  

And forget about those milk shakes too!  You will find that most dailry products are some of the causes that could make those icky stomach liquids to regurgitate upwards back to your esophagus (this is what happens when you have heartburn—and this explains the bitter and acidic taste in your mouth).
